JOB INTERVIEW TIPS! (How you will be ASSESSED at your Job Interview!)
In your job interview, you will be assessed against three things. Write these down.

Number one, you’ll be assessed on communication skills, how you answer the interview questions. During your job interviews, make sure you slow down your pace of communication. This will help you come across as a confident communicator. You should also make sure you practice your answer to the first interview question, TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF, because if you give a confident answer, the rest of the interview will be much easier.

You will also be assessed against the second thing, which is your PASSION and attitude. Make sure you demonstrate enthusiasm for the role. Say to the hiring manager, I am genuinely excited about this opportunity and the prospect of working for your company. With regards to your attitude, do not be negative in any way about previous employers, co-workers or managers when they say to you, why do you want to leave your current job?

And the third thing you will be assessed against at your job interview is your ability to actually do the job properly.
Make sure you read the job description before your interview because it will give you several clues as to the type of skills and qualities they are looking for from the ideal candidate. For example, if the job description states the ideal candidates must be a good team worker, be prepared for the interview question: Tell me about a time when you worked on a team. Read the job description carefully. It will give you a clue as to the type of questions you will have to answer. PERSONALITY TEST QUESTIONS & ANSWERS! (How to PASS a Personality Test) 100% PASS!

PERSONALITY TEST QUESTIONS & ANSWERS! (How to PASS a Personality Test) 100% PASS!

WHAT IS A PERSONALITY TEST? 01:10
PERSONALITY TEST MOCK QUESTIONS 11:37

HOW TO PASS A PERSONALITY TEST!
Personality tests are commonly used by employers to assess whether your behaviours, preferences, and working style are suitable for the role and organisation.

Unlike aptitude tests, personality tests do not normally have obvious right or wrong answers. However, your responses can still have a significant impact on whether you progress to the next stage of the hiring process.

Here are 7 important tips to help you PASS a personality test.

TIP 1: UNDERSTAND WHAT THE EMPLOYER IS LOOKING FOR
Before taking the test, read the job description carefully. Identify the qualities, behaviours, and strengths required for the position.

For example, an employer recruiting for a customer service role may value communication, patience, teamwork, resilience, and a positive attitude. A management position may require leadership, confidence, decision-making, accountability, and organisation.

Keep the requirements of the role in mind when answering the questions.

TIP 2: UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AGREE AND STRONGLY AGREE
Many personality tests ask you to respond to statements using options such as:

Strongly Agree
Agree
Neither Agree nor Disagree
Disagree
Strongly Disagree

Use Strongly Agree when the statement describes you consistently and represents an important positive workplace behaviour.

Use Agree when the statement generally describes you, but perhaps not in every situation.

Avoid selecting extreme answers automatically. Think carefully about how strongly each statement represents your normal workplace behaviour.

TIP 3: BE CONSISTENT
Personality tests often ask similar questions several times using different wording.

For example:

“I enjoy working as part of a team.”

Later, you might see:

“I prefer completing all my work independently.”

These questions may be assessing the same personality trait. If your answers contradict each other significantly, your results may appear inconsistent.

## TIP 4: USE “NEITHER AGREE NOR DISAGREE” SPARINGLY

The neutral option can be useful when you genuinely have no strong preference or when your response would depend heavily on the situation.

However, don’t use it simply because you are unsure which answer looks best. Selecting neutral too frequently can make it difficult for the assessment to establish a clear picture of your personality and working style.

## TIP 5: THINK LIKE A PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE

When answering each statement, think about how you behave in a professional workplace.

Positive workplace behaviours generally include reliability, integrity, teamwork, adaptability, accountability, resilience, organisation, respect, and a willingness to learn.

For example, if the statement says:

“I sometimes ignore procedures if I think my way is quicker.”

An employer is unlikely to view strongly agreeing with this positively, particularly in a safety-critical or regulated role.

## TIP 6: DON’T TRY TO APPEAR PERFECT

Trying to select the answer you believe the employer wants for every question can create unrealistic or contradictory results.

Read every statement carefully and consider both the wording and the strength of your response.

Statements containing words such as “always”, “never”, “every”, or “completely” deserve particular attention because they describe extreme or absolute behaviour.

TIP 7: PRACTICE BEFORE THE REAL TEST

Taking practice personality tests will help you become familiar with the question format and response scales.

Practice also helps you understand the types of workplace behaviours employers may assess, including teamwork, conscientiousness, emotional stability, adaptability, communication, integrity, and leadership.

The objective isn’t to memorise answers. It is to understand the assessment format so you can answer confidently, consistently, and without overthinking every question.

FINAL TIP
Before you start your personality test, remember these three words:

RELEVANT – CONSISTENT – PROFESSIONAL.

Consider the requirements of the job, keep your responses consistent, and answer from the perspective of how you genuinely behave in a professional working environment.

Most importantly, read every statement carefully. Small differences in wording can completely change the meaning of a personality test question.
