HOW TO ANSWER BEHAVIORAL INTERVIEW QUESTIONS USING THE STAR METHOD!
In this video, I am going to show you how to answer behavioural interview questions in a real job interview! The answers I am going to show you are guaranteed to impress every hiring manager, so make sure you stick around!

Behavioural interview questions are designed to assess previous strong work performance. They will include questions such as:
Q. Tell me about a time you worked as part of a team.
Q. Describe a time when you had to deal with a difficult co-worker or customer.
Q. Tell me about a time you made a mistake.

STAR METHOD FOR INTERVIEWS 01:32
Whenever you answer these questions, I strongly advise you to use the STAR method. The STAR method is recognised by all hiring managers as the number 1 way to answer behavioural questions!

The STAR method stands for: SITUATION, TASK, ACTION and RESULT.
– You begin your answer by describing the SITUATION you were in.
– You then briefly outline the TASK that needed your attention.
– Next, give in-depth details of the ACTION you took to complete the task.
– Finally, finish your answer with the RESULT – make sure the result is positive!

The first behavioural interview question I want to show you how to answer is: Tell me about a time you worked as a team.

Examples of working as part of a team include:
– Launching a new company product as a team.
– A team covering the duties of a work colleague who is off sick by sharing their responsibilities.
– Training new team members.
– Working together to find ways to save the company.

Here is my brilliant example answer to the question: tell me about a time you worked on a team in a real job interview! Watch this!

Tell me about a time you worked as part of a team. 03:39

Behavioural interview question number 2 is: Describe a time when you had to deal with a difficult co-worker.
This question is being asked to assess professionalism and whether you are capable of resolving conflict. Examples of dealing with a difficult co-worker include:

– A colleague who constantly interrupts during meetings.
– A co-worker who takes credit for other people’s work.
– A colleague who spreads negativity and lowers morale.
– A team member who consistently misses deadlines and affects projects.

Describe a time when you had to deal with a difficult co-worker. 06:38

The next behavioural interview question I want to teach you how to answer is: Tell me about a time you made a mistake.
This common interview question assesses two things:
1. Honesty;
2. Your desire to improve.
Do not say you have never made a mistake – the truth is, we all make mistakes, but it is how we respond to them that is being assessed in this question.

Examples of making genuine mistakes at work include:
• Sending incorrect information in an email.
• Overlooking an important task on a to-do list.
• Ordering the wrong supplies or stock.
• Forgetting a scheduled call or appointment.
• Misunderstanding instructions from a manager.

Tell me about a time you made a mistake. 09:54

The next behavioural interview question I want to teach you how to answer is: Tell me about a time when you had to solve a difficult problem.
This common interview question assesses two things:
1. Problem-solving;
2. Determination – your desire to overcome challenges as opposed to leaving them for other people to deal with.

Examples of overcoming problems in the workplace include:
• The company website crashes, and you find a solution.
• The company is receiving negative customer reviews – you find out what the issue is and resolve it.
• A company supplier keeps letting the business down. You find a new reliable supplier to replace them.

Tell me about a time when you had to solve a difficult problem. 13:18

ENGLISH LANGUAGE PRACTICE TEST! 25 Questions, Tips, Explanations & Answers to IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH!

ENGLISH LANGUAGE PRACTICE TEST! 25 Questions, Tips, Explanations & Answers to IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH! Get 1000 Test Questions to Practice: https://www.how2become.com/1000-english-language-practice-tests-questions-answers/

10 TIPS FOR PASSING AN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEST (IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH LANGUAGE)
Preparing for an English language test can feel challenging, especially if English is not your first language. The good news is that you can improve quickly with the right preparation. Whether your test covers grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking or listening, these 10 English language test tips will help you prepare and achieve a higher score.

1. PRACTISE ENGLISH EVERY DAY https://youtu.be/WTTV1gzLsXw?si=h9SXsHQuTkr-LKsD
Consistency is the fastest way to improve. Spend at least 20–30 minutes each day reading, writing, listening to or speaking English. Daily practice is far more effective than cramming just before your test.

2. LEARN NEW WORDS IN CONTEXT
Don’t simply memorise lists of vocabulary. Learn new words by using them in sentences. Write down five new words each day, learn their meanings and create your own sentence for each one.

3. READ ENGLISH OUT LOUD
Choose a news article, book or website and read it aloud for 10 minutes each day. This will improve your pronunciation, fluency, confidence and understanding of sentence structure.

4. MASTER COMMON GRAMMAR RULES https://youtu.be/xNhILN6ajd0?si=mW2Apvh9NxVT1zhp
Focus on the grammar rules that regularly appear in English tests, including there/their/they’re, your/you’re, its/it’s, apostrophes, verb tenses and subject-verb agreement.

5. LISTEN TO ENGLISH EVERY DAY
Watch English-language videos, podcasts, interviews and news programmes. Listen carefully to pronunciation, vocabulary and sentence construction. Try summarising what you heard afterwards.

6. COMPLETE PRACTICE TESTS
One of the best ways to pass an English language test is to practise realistic questions. Practice tests reveal your weaknesses, improve your speed and familiarise you with the types of questions you are likely to face.

7. REVIEW EVERY MISTAKE
Don’t just check your score and move on. For every incorrect answer, find out why you got it wrong. Keep a list of recurring mistakes and revise them regularly. Your mistakes are one of your best learning tools!

8. IMPROVE YOUR SPELLING
Create a list of words you frequently misspell and practise writing them. Pay particular attention to commonly confused words such as definitely, necessary, separate, receive and accommodation.

9. READ EVERY QUESTION TWICE
English tests often contain questions designed to assess attention to detail. Read each question carefully, identify exactly what it is asking and check all the answer options before making your choice.

10. PRACTISE UNDER TIMED CONDITIONS
Knowing English is only part of the challenge—you must also perform under pressure. Complete mock tests using the same time limit as the real exam. This will improve your speed, concentration and time management.

FINAL TIP
The key to improving your English language skills is regular practice. Read, write, listen and speak English every day, complete plenty of practice questions and learn from every mistake. The more you practise, the more confident you will become—and the better your chances of passing your English language test!

HOW TO PREPARE FOR A JOB INTERVIEW (10 Expert Tips to Help You Pass)
Knowing how to prepare for a job interview is one of the most important steps you can take to secure a job offer. Employers want candidates who are confident, well-prepared, and genuinely interested in the role. By following these proven interview preparation tips, you can impress the hiring manager and significantly increase your chances of success.

1. Research The Company
Before attending your interview, learn as much as possible about the company. Visit its website, read about its products or services, understand its values, and check for recent news. Employers are always impressed by candidates who have taken the time to research the organisation.

2. Study the Job Description
Carefully review the job description and identify the key skills, qualities, and responsibilities required. Prepare examples from your previous work, education, or life experience that demonstrate you can meet these requirements.

3. Prepare for Common Interview Questions https://youtu.be/KCm6JVtoRdo?si=X8cuKEKebXJVtdyS
Most interviews include similar questions. Practise answering:

* Tell me about yourself.
* Why do you want this job?
* Why should we hire you?
* What are your strengths?
* Describe a time you overcame a challenge.

Practising your answers aloud will improve both your confidence and delivery.

4. Use the STAR Method https://youtu.be/uQEuo7woEEk?si=xakbmWoLA0UobcmF
For competency-based interview questions, use the STAR method:
Situation – Explain the situation.
Task – Describe your responsibility.
Action – Explain what you did.
Result – Share the positive outcome.

This simple structure helps you provide clear, convincing answers.

5. Dress Professionally https://youtube.com/shorts/Z9SbV-4RHWs?si=hGaryyUlu47PXnZj
First impressions matter. Wear clean, smart clothing appropriate for the role and ensure you are well-groomed. Looking professional immediately creates a positive impression.

6. Plan Ahead https://youtu.be/LCWr-TJrc0k?si=7kDbTgBVoLxuqTP5
If your interview is in person, plan your journey and aim to arrive at least 15 minutes early. For online interviews, test your camera, microphone, and internet connection beforehand.

7. Prepare Questions https://youtu.be/5-cba5niZs8?si=AZJcjmN7RzYU2D9Y
Always have questions ready for the interviewer, such as:

* What does success look like in this role?
* What training opportunities are available?
* What are the team’s biggest priorities?

Thoughtful questions show genuine interest in the position.

8. Practise Your Communication Skills https://youtu.be/w28JEwRwE7E?si=UfGBN4fTMSasgnU0
Speak clearly, maintain eye contact, smile naturally, and listen carefully before answering. Good communication skills are just as important as your qualifications.

9. Bring Essential Documents
Take extra copies of your CV or résumé, any requested certificates, identification, and a notebook with a pen. Being organised demonstrates professionalism.

10. Build Your Confidence
Confidence comes from preparation. The more interview questions you practise, the more relaxed and convincing you’ll become. Remember, you’ve already impressed the employer enough to be invited for an interview—now it’s your opportunity to show why you’re the best person for the job.

Final Thoughts
The best way to prepare for a job interview is to research the company, study the job description, practise answering common interview questions, and present yourself professionally. With the right preparation and mindset, you can stand out from the competition and maximise your chances of getting hired.
