Iran claimed that Israel used air-launched ballistic missiles during overnight strikes targeting sites inside the country. According to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the missiles were launched from aircraft, a capability possessed by only a few militaries worldwide. Israeli forces reportedly targeted military and strategic locations in western and central Iran amid escalating regional tensions.

Main battle tanks would face near-total devastation if forced to fight the 1991 Gulf War under today’s modern battlefield conditions. While massive, open desert charging formations allowed Coalition M1 Abrams tanks to easily outrange and obliterate dug-in Iraqi T-72s 35 years ago, the staggering rise of low-cost First-Person View (FPV) drones, loitering munitions, and ubiquitous electronic surveillance has permanently stripped heavy armor of its structural concealment and top-down protection
