HOW TO USE THE STAR METHOD TO ANSWER BEHAVIOURAL INTERVIEW QUESTIONS!
If you want to pass any behavioural interview, the STAR method is the most effective way to structure your answers. Employers ask behavioural questions to assess how you’ve handled real situations in the past—because your past behaviour is the strongest indicator of how you will perform in the role. Using STAR allows you to give clear, concise and compelling answers that demonstrate your skills, professionalism and suitability for the job.
S – SITUATION:
Start by briefly setting the scene. Describe a relevant challenge, task, or problem you faced. Keep this part short, focused and directly linked to the competencies they’re assessing, such as teamwork, communication, leadership or conflict resolution.
T – TASK:
Explain your specific responsibility. What was the goal? What was expected of you? Hiring managers want to understand your role in the situation because this helps them evaluate your level of ownership and accountability.
A – ACTION:
This is the most important part of your answer. Describe the actions you took to resolve the issue or complete the task. Focus on what you did, not what the team did. Use powerful, positive verbs such as planned, led, organised, supported, analysed, negotiated or resolved. Ensure your actions align with the job description and prove you can add value to the company.
R – RESULT:
Finish your answer with the outcome. Whenever possible, include measurable results—figures, percentages, savings, time improvements, customer satisfaction or feedback. If you cannot quantify the result, share what you learned and how it improved your performance.
When used correctly, the STAR method helps you deliver confident, structured answers that stand out. Practise several STAR examples before your interview and tailor them to the role you’re applying for. This simple structure could be the difference between failing your interview and securing the job offer.

HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH LANGUAGE – SPELLING, GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION!
Improving your English language skills can have a huge impact on your confidence, career prospects, academic performance and everyday communication. Whether you are preparing for an English language test, applying for jobs or simply want to communicate more effectively, focusing on spelling, grammar and punctuation is one of the fastest ways to improve.
Here are 7 practical tips to improve your English language skills!
1. READ ENGLISH EVERY DAY
Reading is one of the most effective ways to improve your English. Read news articles, books, workplace documents and professionally written online content.
As you read, pay attention to sentence structure, spelling and punctuation. Even 15–20 minutes of focused reading every day will expose you to correct English and expand your vocabulary.
2. LEARN COMMONLY MISSPELLED WORDS
Create a list of words you regularly spell incorrectly and practise them until they become automatic.
Common examples include:
Necessary – not neccessary
Definitely – not definately
Separate – not seperate
Receive – not recieve
Whenever you discover a word you struggle with, add it to your personal spelling list.
3. MASTER THE MOST IMPORTANT GRAMMAR RULES
Don’t try to learn every grammar rule at once. Start with the areas that cause the most mistakes.
Focus on subject-verb agreement, verb tenses, pronouns, prepositions, apostrophes and commonly confused words such as their, there and they’re.
For example:
Incorrect: She don’t have enough experience.
Correct: She doesn’t have enough experience.
4. IMPROVE YOUR PUNCTUATION
Correct punctuation makes your writing easier to understand and more professional.
Learn how to confidently use full stops, commas, apostrophes, colons, semicolons and question marks.
One of the best ways to improve is to take a paragraph you have written and review every punctuation mark. Ask yourself: Why have I used it, and is it necessary?
5. WRITE SOMETHING EVERY DAY
You improve English by using it, not simply studying it. Write a short paragraph every day about your work, plans, interests or something you have learned. Then review it for spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes.
The more frequently you write, the quicker correct English becomes natural.
6. KEEP A RECORD OF YOUR MISTAKES
Every mistake is an opportunity to improve.
Create an English Mistakes List containing errors you repeatedly make. Write down the incorrect version alongside the correct version.
For example:
Your going to be late. ❌
You’re going to be late. ✅
Review your list regularly. This prevents you from repeatedly making the same mistakes.
7. COMPLETE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PRACTICE TESTS
One of the fastest ways to improve your English is to complete **practice questions under timed conditions.
Practise spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence correction, vocabulary and reading comprehension questions. After every test, don’t just check your score — study the explanations for every question you answered incorrectly.
This turns practice tests into powerful learning exercises.
FINAL TIP
To improve your English language skills quickly, follow this simple routine:
READ → PRACTISE → WRITE → CHECK → CORRECT → REPEAT
You don’t need to study for hours every day. Consistent practice for 20–30 minutes each day can make a significant difference over time.
Most importantly, focus on your mistakes. Every spelling, grammar or punctuation error you identify and correct takes you one step closer to becoming a more accurate, confident and effective English communicator!

Are you preparing for a Jet2 Cabin Crew interview? If you want to become a Jet2 flight attendant, you must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, strong teamwork abilities, and a commitment to passenger safety.
In this article, I will give you 4 essential tips to help you prepare for your Jet2 Cabin Crew interview, answer difficult interview questions confidently, and increase your chances of getting hired!
TIP 1 – RESEARCH JET2 BEFORE YOUR INTERVIEW!
One of the most important Jet2 Cabin Crew interview questions is, “Why do you want to work for Jet2?”
To give a strong answer, research Jet2’s services, destinations, customer experience, and company culture.
Jet2 is known for its friendly customer service and holiday-focused travel experience. Explain why you admire the airline and how your personality, skills, and values align with the role.
Show the interviewer that you genuinely want to work for Jet2 rather than simply wanting to become cabin crew for any airline.
TIP 2 – PREPARE EXAMPLES OF EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Jet2 Cabin Crew members must deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining professional standards.
During your interview, you may be asked:
“Tell me about a time you provided excellent customer service.”
Prepare a specific example using the STAR method:
SITUATION – Describe the situation you faced.
TASK – Explain your responsibility.
ACTION – Describe the steps you took.
RESULT – Explain the positive outcome.
Choose an example that demonstrates your communication skills, patience, initiative, and willingness to go above and beyond for customers.
TIP 3 – DEMONSTRATE TEAMWORK AND SAFETY AWARENESS!
Cabin Crew members must work closely together to ensure flights operate safely and efficiently.
Prepare answers to questions such as:
“Tell me about a time you worked successfully as part of a team.”
“What would you do if a passenger refused to follow safety instructions?”
“How would you deal with a difficult or disruptive passenger?”
In your answers, demonstrate that you remain calm under pressure, follow procedures, communicate clearly, and always prioritise passenger safety.
Remember, safety must always come before customer service.
TIP 4 – SHOW A POSITIVE PERSONALITY AND PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE!
Jet2 wants Cabin Crew members who are friendly, approachable, adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic.
During your Jet2 interview, smile naturally, maintain good eye contact, listen carefully, and speak confidently.
Demonstrate that you can remain professional when dealing with demanding passengers, unexpected situations, and busy flight schedules.
Be prepared to explain why you would make an excellent Jet2 Cabin Crew member and what qualities you would bring to the airline.
FINAL JET2 CABIN CREW INTERVIEW ADVICE
The secret to passing your Jet2 Cabin Crew interview is preparation!
Research the airline, practise your interview answers, prepare strong customer service examples, and demonstrate that you understand the importance of teamwork, professionalism, and passenger safety.
Good luck with your Jet2 Cabin Crew interview!
