Thermal drone footage has captured the interior of a hydropower tunnel in Nepal’s Rasuwa district as rescuers race to reach workers believed to be trapped underground after last week’s devastating Himalayan floods. The black-and-white footage shows the tunnel stretching into darkness at the Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project. Officials say the focus remains on rescuing 933 workers believed to be trapped across 11 hydropower projects in Rasuwa and Nuwakot.
