During the call, PM Modi thanked the Emir for his condolences and expressed grief over the loss of lives, while both leaders shared concern for the injured and their families. They also discussed the broader situation in West Asia and reaffirmed commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and regional stability.
Qatari authorities have confirmed 13 deaths in the incident, with 66 others injured. Indian authorities continue to coordinate support and assistance for affected families.
