Team India celebrated its Asia Cup win in Dubai without ever receiving the trophy on stage. Unfazed by the absence of the Trophy, the Men in Blue posted edited photos online showing the trophy
India refused to accept the trophy from PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi, sparking a post-match controversy. Naqvi left the stage holding the cup, leaving the winners empty-handed. Despite the off-field drama, Team India turned the situation into a humorous moment, playfully mocking the fiasco on social media. Captain Suryakumar Yadav posed as if holding the trophy.
