Davos Fire Scare: Emergency Evacuations Disrupt World Economic Forum | WION Originals

Parts of the World Economic Forum venue in Davos were evacuated after firefighters and emergency crews responded to reports of a fire and a strange smell that caused coughing among attendees.
Smoke divers were dispatched to the Congress Centre as a precaution, while nearby buildings — including a hotel — were also cleared. Authorities later confirmed the situation was contained and the evacuation lifted as crews investigated the source of the smell.
White House officials said President Donald Trump was not affected, having already left the venue hours earlier after delivering his address at the forum. No injuries have been reported and the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
