Newly released Epstein Files reveal that an Indian victim was identified among the late financier Jeffrey Epstein’s victims. Emails between US officials in January 2020 discussed locating the victim and coordinating compensation through the Indian embassy. The communication also referenced therapy support via emergency victim assistance and coordination with the FBI for processing paperwork. Epstein, who died in 2019 awaiting trial, and his aide Ghislaine Maxwell, sentenced to 20 years for trafficking, were at the center of the documents. Earlier emails from 2014 mention meetings in India with government ministers. The files name several prominent figures linked to Epstein’s network.
