Galgotias University has come under fire after showcasing a China-made robotic dog at the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. The display sparked controversy after the robodog was reportedly presented as an indigenous innovation, drawing criticism online and within the tech community.

Following the backlash and escalation of the row, the university was asked to vacate its stall at the summit. In response, Galgotias University issued an apology, saying the incident caused “confusion” during the event and clarifying that no misleading claim was intended.
