Southern China is facing a growing flood threat as intense rainfall sweeps across multiple provinces.
Regions including Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, and Hunan are expected to receive over 100mm of rain, with some areas seeing up to 200mm.

Authorities have issued alerts and are ramping up emergency measures, warning of possible flooding, rising river levels, and pressure on reservoirs—especially those with existing safety concerns.
With more rain forecast in the coming days, the situation remains critical.
