Iran-US War: US VP Says Exit From Iran War Soon | WION

U.S. Vice President JD Vance has said American forces will exit the Iran war soon, stressing that most military objectives have already been achieved. Speaking in an interview, Vance described the conflict as short-term and said Washington is not seeking a prolonged presence.

Vance also linked the timeline for withdrawal to stabilising fuel prices, calling recent increases a temporary effect of the conflict. He reiterated that U.S. President Donald Trump intends to wrap up operations after securing long-term objectives.

The remarks come as Trump has extended a deadline for Iran linked to tensions around the Strait of Hormuz, a key global energy corridor.
