AIRBORN is about revisiting India’s war history through the lens of the Indian Air Force. IAF was incepted in 1932 as an auxiliary of Royal Air Force with a humble fleet of mere four Westland Wapiti IIA biplanes and 6 RAF-trained officers. It had risen from modest beginnings to great might. It participated in World War II and was conferred with ‘prefix’ royal for its services. Now IAF is one of the most strongest and largest Air Force.
