Typhoon Dolphin Hits China | Zhejiang Offshore Wind Farm Activates Highest-Level Emergency Response

Typhoon Dolphin has hit eastern China, bringing powerful winds and raging waves to Zhejiang Province. Fixed cameras at the Huadian Yuhuan offshore wind farm near Pishan Island captured the storm as the facility entered its highest-level emergency response.

The offshore wind farm was caught in a force-12 wind zone, with gusts exceeding 46.1 metres per second. All 32 wind turbines were safely shut down, with their blades moved into defensive positions to withstand the powerful winds and rough seas.
