   I like watching the news or yes or pass style videos because it lets me see how similar things are and it enables me to make the smartest purchases. I really like your news tho it’s very good and you ladies are lovely 😊

   I use Inglot Duraline for my gel pots from Colourpop. That also makes it waterproof too 😊
   Haha! I'm not paying shipping for a bronze and black eyeliner, but seriously…you're already overpaying for the product anyway 😂 my jaw dropped when I looked up the prices of her crap. Talk about paying for a name. Sorry…I just can't stand how she priced her products. It boggles my mind.

   I love mini pallets! They are nice for travel or for people who can't wear makeup at work. I find my little pallets last forever. I don't understand why Morphe makes their palettes large. The biggest trend to me is the push for glass skin/actually taking care of our skin.

   I follow lady gag and haus labs on instagram and I’m always surprised by how genuinely passionate Gaga seems to be about the brand and everything the release… I know it doesn’t necessarily mean anything but I get a very sincere impression from her, very different to how you guys read it. Every time I hear someone talk about it I’m like yeah it’s just a cash grab but then I’m scrolling Instagram and see her posts about their products and I’m fooled I guess 😅

   Color capsule trend rocked. I’m still searching for the perfect purple palette, I have issues. I voted for the low buy sitch, I have done pretty well on my low buy and I love it. Enjoying what I’ve got. Omg, weekly releases.. killing the golden makeup goose.. the creepy le release/cash grab is icky too.
   My fav release was the Devinah Cosmetics Xploders bundle… Love the Smashbox foundation release. Wow. Great mixing foundation.

    Girls, I need some serious expert opinions here. I'm always wary of fake makeup. I only ever buy my makeup from actual stores and known stockists of quality brands. I never buy from ebay or anywhere else that has the chance of doing a dodgy on me. I've recently discovered that the Nordstrom website ships to Australia, and was rather shocked to find the Lorac Mega Pro palette 3 listed for $90 Australian dollars. The Mega Pro palletes were supposed to be limited edition and came out years ago, but Nordstrom is supposed to be a legit company. Is this legit??

    The Haus Labs makeup reminds me of the Kylie Minogue makeup where she selected a few products solely in order to be able to keep the name. Haus is basically the same, it's all there just for the name and the association. Neither line has/had any inspiration behind it, it was a phoned-in cash grab. Is Kylie Minogue still doing makeup? I feel like that whole thing was so weird, just keeping the name for the sake of the name but not doing anything with it. Anyway, the two just felt very similar to me.

    the brand i ended up most angry with this year was a tie between revolution and associates and ABH. but the worst brand was jaclyn hands down, from the actual issues to how she handled them.

    I personally think the 'Pop of Blue' is going to continue since a blue is Pantone's colour of the year for 2020… and we all know how beauty brands lick that shit up for a good few months into the new year

    I love hearing your thoughts (and rants!) because I generally agree but also feel like you guys have some more expertise vs many others so your opinion kind of has more weight to me? I am most disappointed by Haus Labs this year and finding out Lady Gaga may not have any real role in the company explains a lot really. She has so much creativity that there's no way she was involved in product inception. Which is also super disappointing. 😔 Ahwell. Here's to hoping 2020 will bring better more thoughtful releases! Happy new year! ❤️🎉

    Fun your opinion on Lady Gaga’s part in Haus Labs, I completely disagree, in the sense that she knows nothing about makeup and she doesn’t have anything to do with it, which is something rare nowadays, usually rich people feel entitled to interfere and create just because they have the money to do it. She created the company and passed it on to her makeup artist to run. That’s about the only thing I feel is ok with the brand.
    Of course, being the face of the brand, people expect that in-your-face Gaga branding, but again, look at how she has been choosing to present herself recently: she’s in a soft glam “now I’m a Hollywood star” phase.
    I can understand how it is a disappointment for so many, but then again it didn’t surprise me how bland it all was…
    Not being a fan of Gaga, I never bought the products because I can’t stand Amazon, it was funny to see how I suddenly realised I wasn’t over disappointed because I never expected much, I guess 🙂

    Someone help me with the hourglass caution mascara – I love that it’s one of a few that doesn’t transfer or smudge on me but I felt like it didn’t do anything for my lashes which I was so bummed about. Does anyone have any tricks with it? I feel like you have to have long gorgeous lashes to start with for the mascara to work well/look great?!

    You’re so right about the Jessica Rabbit palette!!! Now Ciaté has released new palettes with color stories that I like but none is reviewing them and I’m afraid of ordering any of them 🤷🏻‍♀️
