Wow! Why so much negativity in this channel? So much that the "beauty" in "beauty news" ran away a long time ago… Replace "beauty" with "trash" and this is what you get:
– Makeup Geek, which is criticized for every step. The release of eyeliners made them flicker. That's not even funny. Marlena has accomplished much more than the two of you combined. She's worked hard to get where she is, and she's also giving back. Giving back is something I haven't noticed here…
– KVD Beauty. Oh yeah. Beating the old dog over and over again; talking about past dramas that no one cares about anymore (unless you have a life). It got old. If you have any decency left, get over it, because it doesn't get any funnier. Let it go.
Brands are criticized for not being inclusive enough. Brands are obligated to be inclusive these days. To claim products with an "all-in-one" and "for everyone" is ridiculous. A brand should be able to appeal to a specific group if that's what they want to do. Maybe the next product they release will include the previous group that was excluded. But no, the cancel culture must be applied at all costs.

Nope, I won’t waste space in my drawer for fucking glitter that looks like an underage stripper. If someone wants fucking glitter, let them go get glitter.
FFS I know it is supposed to make the palette eye-catching in a Sephora floor-room of palettes. if I want glitter, I’ll go get one. Surely, there is a better way than having people buy pans they will never touch, or simply chip into the bin & use the spot to hold something else

I actually bought the milani palette as soon as I seen it lol i just thought the little van was so cute. The formula was actually really nice which I wasn't sure how it would be because I've never bought anything from the brand before.

These mascaras need to calm the eff down!At this point, I’m not sure what my eyelashes are supposed to be doing that are so sexy. That is a lot of pressure for tiny hairs whose main function is to keep dirt out of my eyes!

Sydney grace releases some of their palettes in a light version and a deep version. The palettes have the same general color stories, but a few of the shades are more saturated in the deep palette for things like a highlight shade and transition shades. As someone with ridiculously fair skin, I really appreciate this because A LOT of palettes are actually too dark for me. This is a good way to be as inclusive as possible without having a bunch of unnecessary shades in your palette. Plus, the Sydney Grace eyeshadow formula is GORGEOUS. It’s ruined all other eyeshadow formulas for me because it’s so good.

lol that Tetris collection is super bad. Picked a new Mac Lipstick in Mangrove after watching 's Mac declutter and I love it! Also scored a Shalimar super on sale which was amazing. Feeling full 20's vibes this week. So far this year I have bought zero new releases. Hope you both had a brilliant Easter!

There is a $27 Estee lauder mascara that when it dries it starts to shed onto your face. It made my boyfriend think I was getting dirt on my face. I still used it not because it was good but because I spent a lot of money on it.

I must say I agree with everything you said except the Milani eyeshadow palette in the shape of a camper van. Yes I agree that the colours are nothing to get excited about but in North America travel trailers and camper vans are blowing up over here. Most people understand that probably they will not be able to fly to their vacation destinations but many families are opting for camping for the summer. So I think Milani perhaps understands that trend right now during the pandemic just too bad they did not include a more cohesive colour story.

The thing about universal eyeshadow palettes, it's doable. As you can see I'm white, Jackie's collaboration with ABH is by far my favourite palette. And it has enough light colours for me to do simple soft everyday looks but also my favourite darker looks as well! Now that tetris collaboration reminds me the big palettes Makeup Revolution does.

Zoeva has scrapped their very good formula for a new, vegan formula. I’m not sure if this will be good. I love Zoeva. Teris👾 palette is the opposite of. ❤️ 👍 you’re fab.

Huda annoys me with her misleading palette names. That khaki palette for example did not contain a single khaki shade, except tha plastic frame around the shades. I do not need this in my life.
Edit: this Tetris fail also annoys me. Tilt! Game over! Brands just take popular themes, print it loveless on random products that have NOTHING to do with the theme and expect fans to buy. Well, no. Just no.
