   The fact that you can't get that last, tiny bit of product out of the bottom without breaking the bottle open bothers me so much. I feel like I would have to just smash the bottle open or I would go insane and not sleep at night.

   This is my ride or die primer. I use it with the Guerlain Parure Gold foundation and the combination is a dream. Fortunately I live in the UK and depending where you buy it from, it costs £46 from Debenhams, £54 Harrods, £54 Selfridges and £45.90 John Lewis. The foundation is £63 and comes in a gold bottle. You can get it in a black bottle too, I’m unsure of how they differ so I stick to what I know. The foundation also has lots of skin care ingredients in it, to boost collagen, help age spots, diminish lines etc.. so you’re not only wearing a primer and foundation, your also getting the added bonus of skincare benefits from this line.They also have a setting spray but I haven’t tried that. I love this primer, your skin look smoother, feels firmer and looks radiant. If your looking for something similar, YSL have a touché eclat primer, with the fold flakes suspended in the gel, which is £30. I know that’s still expensive for a primer. I’ve not tried it so I don’t know if it includes the skincare in the product but it does have good ratings. If your on a tighter budget there’s a Korean skincare brand that sells a primer that looks exactly like Guerlain L’or. It’s in a different bottle and it’s only £10. My friend bought it and let me try it and I was impressed. It made my skin radiant and made my foundation look smooth. If anyone is interested il find out the name of the primer and brand and post it below. I cannot believe the difference in cost from country to country. Austraulians seem to pay double what we pay for products. You would think the Sephora there would charge the same as the one in America. I would live a Sephora in the UK but they would have to charge UK prices to compete with shops like Debenhams, John Lewis, Harrods, Space NK. So maybe that’s why they don’t have stored over here. It’s maybe not worth it for them. Idk. It be cool to go into one and wander around all those brands though. We do have makeup floors in department stores here but not a whole massive store dedicated to just selling beauty products.

   Interestingly, one imperial (UK) fluid ounce is 28.4ml. Guerlain, being Europe based, could have used the 1 fl oz as their base measurement. I believe that 1 fl oz bottles were a standard size for dispensing in the past. This was, bizarrely, often the case in some European metric countries too until standardisation. Some industries still use their traditional system alongside metrics too. It may have just lingered as tradition with 30ml being a convenient round number. A bit like how an ounce of ingredients is usually rounded down to 25g. Still doesn't make it fair when you're getting less product because it is unaccessible.

   Gold is a poison like every heavy metal which penetrate the body (mouth, nose, skin..). I don't understand why people are volunteer to intoxicate themselves with heavy metals, a lot of people died due to mercury, lead, arsenic, etc.. don't put these metals in your body even if you want a "cool" make up !

   Rather crude concept: measure 10ml water in a seperate cylinder, use that to wash down the product, subtract 10 from final measurement – done

   maybe 28.5 or 29, but definitely not 30

   It seemed to me that you didn't really account for the different values of money like 1 euro does not equal 1 dollar, and the australian dollar doesn't have the same value as the american dollar

    As someone from Spain, don't use Feel Unique, use Sephora, the price may be a little higher but is the standard place where you would buy this (I didnt even know fu existed before this)

    You should use warm water and dip the cylinder in so its not on the sides, or maybe hold some steaming water near the cone so it goes thru. Ive seen ppl do that with lip gloss where they put it in a warm cup of water to get it off the sides of the container
