   I don't live in the US and so I don't understand what black Friday is supposed to mean on a remembrance /spiritual level but on a surface level, Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving

    I just got back from a scuba focused 2-week trip to Australia (I was only in Melbourne for a layover, unfortunately!) but I used my Away suitcase for everything! It really is great, so it makes me happy they sponsor you! <3 Hope you guys are enjoying your summer!

    Literally some child will tear up their eye and they will sue and then then folks will pop off on the parents for not being "responsible" or whatever and defend a corporation. When CLEARLY they are being deceptive and not transparent. This is why i didn't buy the Tati palette because of glitters.

    Thank you for your Colourpop rant! My very biggest issue with them is that they label them not to be used on eyes along with any pigments that might stain or irritate AS IF EYE DAMAGE IS THE SAME THING. People specifically ask them to not include glitter. But then there's people willing to risk it, who love it, so they pour money into their dishonesty of not informing people!!!!

    Am I the only one who is put off by “limited edition” things? 🤔 I will NEVER buy them. If I fall in love with a limited edition lipstick and use it up, I want to be able to repurchase that item.

    I understand why you ladies are coming from in regards to the press to glitter and they palettes but at the same time at what point does a kid Sumer take responsibility for not doing research? I understand that company should markets everyone but at the same time no one's going to be happy with everything there's always gonna be people that don't like something or complain or blame somebody because they didn't bother doing their research. So on one hand I agree with what you guys are saying about the press glitters but at the same time people need to do their research before getting anything to a child. I don't care if it's a pacifier you need to read the warnings on it before you hand it to a child and walk away and leave them unsupervised. People need to do their research and stop using company is to blame because they're too lazy to read packages or do some research but at the same time not everybody likes press glitter! Is kind of a mixed bag.

    I’m with you regarding the Colourpop pressed glitters, but to be technical, pressed pigments aren’t eye safe either. I personally don’t see a need for either in mainstream palettes.

    I feel like not too long ago the trend was GLITTER EVERYTHING, and now everyone is up in arms about glitter in palettes. Not that it’s a bad thing that people are aware, I just find it fascinating how the tides can turn. I bought the Frozen palettes from Colourpop because I’m a grown-ass woman and I do what I want even if that includes buying children’s movie themed makeup. 😜We’ll see if I risk dipping into the glitter. I think the palettes are a good buy even if you never use the glitter.

    I've never tries the cream eyeshadows from the Balm, but I loved the cream blush/lip that were in one of my palettes from them.

    The dog palette is so freaking cute packaging! I do wish they donates part of the proceeds or something like that though like was dine for the clover palette. For me that was the only reason I thought about getting the clover palette.

    ❄❄❄I'm probably in the minority here, but I don't care. Almost EVERY brand I own, cheap and higher end, have glitter in their formulas in some form. Not just Colourpop. Stila, Too Faced, Pat McGrath, Makeup Geek, Wet n Wild, Fenty, Makeup Revolution, Urban Decay – literally every eyeshadow brand I have has legit glitter in their formulas so I don't understand why Colourpop is being vilified so harshly. It's not anything new. I think everyone is being a bit ridiculous about them in particular and just jumping on a bandwagon. I use all of my glitters regularly and I love them, it's my choice.

    I picked up one of the Revlon Skin Lights highlighters (I’m in the US, found mine at Walgreens actually) and I really like it! It’s not life changing, but it’s pretty good! And the presentation is amazing in the pan!

    I usually give extra make up that I can't off load on friends and family to a trans youth center. It's hard to find someone who's wants make-up, skincare and hair care.

    Someone probably already commented this-I'm a bit behind on videos. It's called black friday (in America) because it usually puts that stores sales "in the black" for the year. Basically if a store is having a crap year black friday could help them out. It's obviously become much more about consumerism now but that is how I believe black friday started 😊

    that rant couldn't BE any more better timed… I was listening to the commentary after looking at the images and the idea was already forming in my brain cos I feel exactly the same about those gliterally obsessed pots and those chunky shadows in their palettes so I was about to make a comment about it and looked up in time to see the Rant Warning!!!! LOL
    I don't understand those chunky glitters in their palettes AT ALL.. Yes they are beautiful, yes they do warn you its not eye safe but then why on earth stick it in an EYE palette.. crazier still why the heck have images in their marketing campaign emails, and on their page where its clear people are using it on their eyes!!! I mean come on.. you're asking for trouble.. yes the serious make up lover may know better and be careful but is that really worth risking some body who is a noob or younger and less experienced using this and getting it in their eyes and heaven knows what could happen…. I don't know.. If it happened in one palette and they heard the feedback and replaced all similar shadows in proceeding palettes with more eye safe versions fine but these glitters have been in so many palettes since they introduced these capsule palettes its literally like Hailey says someone just keeps sweeping everyone's concerns under the rug… not cool colour pop, especially considering this is something kids are going to love..

    What you said about boxing day sales taking a hit is the same in England (or at least where I am). Boxing day used to absolute chaos but now it's black Friday or online.

    Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving and it always officially opened the Christmas shopping season in the USA where all the big shops had these major sales. It started like 50 or more years ago. It bagan being called "Black" is an economic term which means profits as opposed "in the red"
