Purple is the complementary color to yellow and since yellow is included in orange it might as well be the reason why the mushed frankencolour out of all three looked similar to the redpink one from the three colours

tbh I don't understand why the brand even made this one with this color cause few reason ; first, the color combinaison is horrible , second , the grandient/ombre lips are originally a korean makeup trend , wich is usually made with (individually) orange,pink red and orange coral, lots of shades of pinks, burgundy and that's pretty all (there are some different colors , but that's the usual) , not a kinda lavender purple ! And third, these colors can't blend ! seriously, hot pink, weird purple and orange! if it was in a another order maybe it,d be okay but I'm not sure . Also if someone wants a lipstick like that try the Laneige one. The colors are less pigmented , so it blend better and there combination make it blend well !But if you want to do an ombre lip, just remember to actually turn it upside down ! 🙂 (actually, yes , it's kinda hard to apply it while turning it upside down so I'd just propose liquid korean lip tint, there are more texture disponible ( a little more creamy, really liquid , gel-like , etc) and it really stains the lips (depending on the brand, it might stay on more longer)so it's cool it doesn't transfer and all )

Kinda makes sense that the three colors would average out to the pink shade. The yellow part of the orange shade should cancel out the blue part of the purple. Take those away and you’re left with red, red, and red.
