Im gonna honest and say I love Besame’s packaging but they kinda annoy me at times what kinda shit is that agent carter collection,like yea it’s beautyful but really? they are already in their normal collection 🙄 and I bet the damn lipstick tubes are hella cheaply made like their normal lipsticks,Altho the quality is there in the lipstick so Maybe I shouldn’t talk crap by still haha

listen, when you first mentioned the Agent Carter collection I started literally hyperventilating with excitement 😂 I'm a casual fan of vintage-style, the show and vaguely familiar with Besame, but a DIEHARD fan of the character enough to probably buy something out of the collection. So I think it's not impossible that this appeals to a few different markets/demographics. The gorgeous packaging w/ 3 existing shades just isn't quite enough to spend 70$ + intnatl shipping and taxes on.

Ugh, the Besame collection was such a disappointing reveal today. 🙁 You can still buy the kit now that it's been revealed, but you have to buy the whole thing–which is extra shitty, because I have a couple friends who are not at all into makeup, heard about this collection months ago, were anxiously awaiting its release, and would've 100% splurged for a Peggy Carter red lipstick. I wonder if Besame misjudged how far-reaching the hype for this was and missed out on an opportunity to snag some new customers.

it really does suck that KVD didn't make a red head shade. very few brands do and even if they do they often suck and look burgendy which doesn't suit most red heads colouring. KVD usually seems more inclusive. PS LOVE THAT YOU ARE NOW A PODCAST! I often listen on the bus so that is wonderful!

As a redhead I find it sooo hard to find any colours that don’t make me look like I’ve died my hair:( I use a benefit one atm that’s a light enough brown to blend naturally with the red tone in my brow hairs, but if Kat Von d had a red shade I’d have switched to her product immediately – she missed an opportunity there

Congrats on the 300k. I have done a major purge of BG I will continue to watch and you are one of the 15 channels (from 40) I have kept-though 9 or 10 of them are on the way out. With the Agent Carter set I do understand the disappointment of the colours being existing colours but I still think it would be worth it if you think it's pretty. For the fact that you get the limited edition packaging and three lipsticks as well as the jewelry box for $68 when individual lipsticks from Besame are $22 it's still a good deal.

I know Kat Von D is all about the crazy or edgy makeup, but I’m just not about the crazy color brow pomades. Admittedly, I have brown hair, but I feel like if I ever want to do something bright and crazy, I’d just use an shadow

If those Kat Givemeallyourcash D eyebrow pomades are meant to be mixable to create custom shades, then why aren't they in a pallette like those Anastasia lippies. It's such a money grabbing move because some people would have to buy 2, 3 or more shades while others buy one… It's ridiculous. Nobody is going to use up that much pink eyebrow stuff unless you're a makeup artist who has 400 customers in 6 months and all of them want pink eyebrows.
