The staggered release strategy is a THING now because there is so much competition that brands want to constantly stay in the coversation i.e. featuring on beauty news every single week like Colourpop, this has even been mandated by stored like Sephora because then more people come into the store to check out new releases (even though it seems like the industry is infallible right now, sales are actually going down) Norvina from ABH talked about this on Twitter which explains their questionable recent release strategy…

I'm not buying it either way, but I feel like a conspiracy pallet should have shades named after conspiracies. Like a green called "Grassy Knoll" or a metallic silver called "Phone Tap." Just naming the colors after random stuff Shane likes seems like a waste of a conspiracy concept IMO.
