I actually went a little further than I should have this year 😅:
I bought the Power eyeshadow and Power blush palette from Coloured Raine, Elsa's palette from colourpop, The Amor Eterno Muerte and Vida palettes from Melt cosmetics, the facial cleanser from Kiehl's and a blush in Raizin from Mac. My bank account is kind of crapped.off at me 😅. And that"s just the make up purchases, there was non make up related things

You can tell that the market is saturated and they're desperately jostling for market share. Black Friday started extremely early and seems to be going waaaay longer.

I appreciate the time and energy you guys put into this, particularly when sales (this year even more than usual it seems) have gotten insanely out of hand. They started early, different every day, new products launching at the same time… it's been crazy. Completely mental. XD I just did almost all my christmas shopping so that's good for me at least.

I set a $250 budget. As of 10:45am Black Friday, I have spent $300-ish. Soooo, not great… But better than last year. I am kinda pleased with myself. Now I just have to avoid the internet for the rest of the weekend and not look at any more sales.

I got the Jackie Aina palette and the nabla Secret palette on bragging rights at BeautyBay and that's it for me. I was more excited for the launch of the Amor Eterno collection than the sales, but I'll buy them after the holidays.

I was very very good, I only got the Main Squeeze palette from Colourpop, my first ever Colourpop purchase so I'm quite excited, the Queen of Hearts palette from Coloured Raine because I love them, I have all the palettes (even Power which cost a gazillion in shipping). Then I went to Priceline and got back ups of Australis Fresh and Flawless and Maybelline FitMe concealers. Now I'm broke.
If I could chose another Black Friday sale without going bankrupt, it would be Melt, but I forced myself to watch your video where you discovered Gemini had mould to deter me and keep my money for important shit, like rent etc.
ALSO drumroll please, the latest news in ol' WA, we got a Sephora pop up in one of the David Jones, its there til January, leading to speculation that we MAY get our first Sephora store if it all goes well. I went and was heartily disappointed, there were a few Tarte Rainforest of the Sea palettes, ONE (One?!?!!) Huda Gold Remastered Palette and some Kat Von D packs of something, and everything else was bloody Sephora Collection!!!!
No Sephora, JUST NO. Nobody wants your collection bollocks, and no one who lives in one of the most expensive cities in Australia wants a Black Friday Sale of 15% off. Now sod off home, you can have a store here when you sort your shit out.

I was going to buy some of Cristine's Holo Holiday, and was pleasantly surprised to know that all but the box are 15% off. Yay. Was gonna buy anyway, and I saved almost 2 bucks each polish I picked up. Which I need like I require another hole in my head, but idc.

Just went to colorpops site. The eyeliner pack has gone and the coconut palette has gone too. Out of stock for a lot of stuff on their site. How absolutely disappointing. Oh well, saved me some money that I didn't have to start with. :/

I bought some Sigma brushes I needed. I also helped my mother set up auto delivery for dog food, but I don't really think that qualifies as an exciting BF buy…unless you're the dog, of course. 🐩

Ladies in red!!! Yowch!!!!! I don't need anything and tbh im a bit turned off from senseless spending after the last two years in the beauty community…Those colour pop vaults are amazing for an artist but its too much for the everyday, they will expire before you could even use a few of them. So sad and lacking in inspiration recently. Consumer overload!!!!!! Plant a tree instead if you can. 🙂
