    Merson speaking sense for once. Top four next season is a good step for United. The exceptations around United have been unrealistic for long time like they should be looking to win the league every season because of their history. History is just that: history. Reality is another thing.

    I wasn't surprised they let him go, I was beginning to think they should weeks ago. If he's struggling to assert himself with the players, what chance would he have with the Glazers and this board. I wouldn't be surprised to find out later that he was talking tough in the media (which the fans loved him for) but in front of the players and board he was a shadow of that. Also, being honest is one thing, but even I'd recognize that if you walk into that hornet's nest you have to operate with a bit of diplomacy until you're actually IN the job you came for. My guess: the board lost patience with being embarrassed every week, Ten felt starting on a good foot with the existing squad required bonding over a common enemy, and what better way to ingratiate the players with their new manager than to let go of the one person they couldn't stand? Then when you still face resistance, you know who to not even waste time on and he will sell them without even flinching.

    i said it when he was appointed rio and paul knew what i said, he was hailed the god of football, my immediate reaction was "do what, never heard of him, can't be that good" your having a laugh", lets see before we make comments , and then i said "i reserve my opinion" at least ten hag has done some things with some good results, and yes he has started better, but still i reserve my opinion,

    Ralf Ragnick did a lot of good for United. He exposed the players for what they are, and United have thanked him by getting rid of him. This shows just how United are not willing to change. Ragnick was not brought in to coach the club, he was brought in to analyse the problems and help create the foundations for success by restructuring at United. But United for all the hopes we had and the recent changes, seem unwilling to listen to him. The players are predominantly responsible

    Manchester United players have to learn how to create a better and greater chance with players who give the least amount of assists or key passes. It has to be a team improvement. You going to win if everyone gives a 100 per cent performance. hired a creating assistant supporting coach.

    As much as I hate united. This was one of the worst things they could do. Rangnick is a builder of clubs and many times wanted control and bring in/sell players which the board did not listen to. The players are beyond delusional and spoilt and this started by the board during the late mourinho era and especially took off in the ole era.
    The board and the pundits are to blame the most, ralf rangnicks job was to rebuild the football club which they gave no power to.

    That's the problem! Managers didn't have an authority to bring players they wanted, and as a result they couldn't implement their philosophy. All the Ralf's suggestions for January Transfer window were absolutely on point and possible to make it happen. But no… the director board know better..

    Spent 80+ for pogba when we could of got 2 players for that board needs to wake up try looking at what there is not oh I want just because he plays one good game in 38 means what a great buy not players need to be taught that they play for club not run it big boys at top need to part was as there the ones holding united back just need a great coach who puts players in there places or get rid fergie would of given them the hot air treatment or get hitting door on way out look at previous players they all played as a team now it's like they all want to play there own game are they paying there selves to play that game no so play football then

    Yeah you wont have one of the top scorers in the champions league (Haller) & One of the best players in that semi final run especially when Ajax destoyed Madrid 4-1.

    Reminds of Man City being the FAR better team in Madrid but being beaten over two legs and Liverpool going to destroy Madrid in the final even if they might win. Ludicrous!

    Is Dawson having a laugh? Ralf Rangnick who is in as an interim manager cant "get rid" of players or stamp his authority. He was never going to be permanent manager. Rangnick's honesty has been admirable. Club is in a mess and hopefully ETH will turn things around.

    All this people trying to defend Rangnick and justify his failure are part of the reason we are where we are. You all praise him for "exposing" the players and the club (like we didn't know everything he was saying before), yet you won't admit to yourself that these last few months have been an absolute failure by him. All the exposing you guy claim he was doing for me was all about saving his own skin, making sure he came out clean in the end and it obviously worked on you lot.
