   Three years ago, nobody could have foreseen the current state of the U.S. dollar. The U.S. continues to repeat the same mistakes that have led to the dollar's current situation. As a result, there's no guarantee that the dollar's future will be as bright as it's hoped to be.

   This is laughable. Even Russia doesn't want any more of low value Rupees. In what world do you stash worthless paper. US currency is the entirety of world economy valued in USD and denominated in USD. Wake up, BRICS have been talking about de-dollarization for over a decade. Plus, if this happens that means the world is going down the drain with it.

   The problem with "Economics" as a philosophy. Is it was deliberately written to obscure what is really going on in "Economics". As a result it is obscured that the US Dollar is backed by oil value not gold value thus the term "Petro-Dollar". But the true usefullness of the "Petro-Dollar" is based on if it is a reliable storage of monetary value.

   But that dollar usefullness was blown skyhigh. When the Biden Administration decided to cut Russia out of using the US Dollar for international trade. Making the US Dollar useless as a storage of monetary value. Which caused every nation holding US Dollars as a banking reserve. To realize the wealth held by holding US Dollars as a currency reserve. Could disappear by a stroke of a Presidental Pen in Washington DC.

   As a result China holding over 4 Trillion US Dollars as a currency reserve. Decided to selloff its dollar reserves and hold only dollars it needed for international trade. And all other nations holding US Dollars as a currency reserve decided to do the same.

   Thus the mad scramble to create a international currency trading system not based on the US Dollar. With each nation in a trading partner group. Trying to make its own national currency as a majority trading currency in that group of trading partners. Thus the breakup of the "Petro-Dollar" as a international currency reserve.

   Of all the really stupid decisions of the Biden Administration.
   
   Destroying the "Petro-Dollar" as reliable storage of monetary value.
   
   Is the worst decision a US President could make.
   
   The American Public had the sweetest deal when the US Dollar was Earth's reserve currency. As Earth's productive capacity was supporting the US Dollar. Not what was happening in Washington DC. So the American Public could live well beyond America's productive capacity.

   But Biden blew that sweet currency deal sky-high in his brain-dead war against Russia. And that is what the Economists are trying to obsure now. With deranged gibberish about the realities of Economics.

    So what happened to the Euro?
    My understanding was that our partners EU had come up with the Euro to demise our King Do!

    Even if the Brics come up with their own currency at some point they have to buy the green buck for trade or any other reason. Also let’s keep in mind that the dollar is printed by the largest economy in the world and our economy does not show any sign of slowing down in the near future.

    Weird and funny, the end of king dollar..brics create gold as the standard of exchange.. how many countries have so much gold, when there's no more gold what will happen to commodities? In fact, it's only going to strengthen in the years to come….So go ahead, sell off those dirty greenbacks and invest in Yuan or Rupees LOL!.

    There's a reason why Africa, India and the BRICS are piss poor, corrupt and despotic countries…..Anyone with any brains or wealth in those countries gets their money out as fast as they can to the safety of US treasuries, properties and financial markets or if they can't, they move it to the UK, Europe or some other western 1st world country……Not the other way around….

    LOL! Same old story….There's nothing to replace the USD, nothing. There's not one currency nor store of value liquid enough, distributed by a government, country or economy powerful enough, with liquid, free and open markets, property rights and rule of law that is the least dependent on foreign trade than the USA. This means every other country has much more to gain by turning on the printing presses than (believe it or not) the USA.

    Every time there's a world crisis, even originating in the US, the Dollar goes up. Every time the Chinese have tried to make their currency freely tradable they've experienced massive amounts of capital flight, especially by their own people…. This was a clickbait story. A big nothing burger…lol…End of story.

    Geez, standard of academia is plumbing the bottom of the barrel these days in some countries of the Western world. Even an engineer like me could debunk his hubris why the de-dollarization is not already on its way. It is beyond the cusp of a trend, but a well-entrenched phenomenon that is unstoppable. The reason is the fact that holding the dollar as your nation's reserves currency subject you to being blackmailed into having to comply to US interests or acceptance of your country's actions and words. If US is upset with your nation's policies/actions/behaviour, the US can confiscate your reserves until you succumbed. Eg. What Russia is experiencing now. I other words, you are no longer a sovereign country, by defiiniton. The World will find a way/method/process to use a non-fiat currency as nation reserves. A "Token" that has INTRINSIC VALUE (pertinently not IOUs), where it is not possible for a country's politician to have a hand in debasing its value by choice. Possible candidates in combinations, like gold, minerals, oil (God's money).

    The actual scenerio will be the dollar will NOT be the only reserve currency to be held by all nations.

    When BRICs start to have many more countries, within these countries will more likely to use the Yuan NOT THE DOLLARs .

    As a result it is suicidal for any country including the US and west NOT TO HAVE ready yuan
    if BRICs is going to support the Yuan strongly.

    For the immediate future is the dollar will just be one of many reserve currencies with its share shrink to single digits.

    Once Chinese products are quote ONLY in Yuan or non dollars , the this trend will accelerate

    From then on US cannot simply print money or most countries will dump the dollar . If the dollar is not used in most countries doubtful US can print anymore or the dollar will be dead.

    There is too much focus on framing the discussion as replacing the dollar. No one country has set out their goal as that but rather that they are diversifying their away their dependence from the dollar. The discussion should be whether that's a good thing for those countries. The answer is a resounding YES. There are so many angles to this discussion than focusing on replacing the dollar. Let the dollar do its thing and the countries diversify their options. Ultimately the end result is not what exists today and that's a good thing.
