As far as the Becca palette goes, I am always conflicted about holiday releases. They have to balance the opportunity to make something their current fans will want to add to their collection and things that their fans will want to gift others to show the brand's range. I am glad they're sticking somewhat to their goals for the brand like y'all said with the natural tones though. But I also would give them all my money if they released a few of the light chasers in a set or palette. That would be incredible. Maybe they'll do something like that later on once those have been out a little longer.

I guess Too Faced won't get my money, with such a name… Honestly, not sure if they could do worse (PLEASE don't do worse) at this stage when it comes to naming their products. The Laura Mercier eyeshadow palette and the MAC lipstick vault, on the other hand… Me likey ! It would be a nice way to try out MAC lipstick (or just to add to my lipstick collection, it's mostly drugstore lipstick right now lol)

I had a lipstick very similar to that kat von d lipstick. It was by Bourjois and it was out around the early 00s, a reddy brown base with a golden olive shine(not sparkle though). I loved it so much and had bought it for all my friends cause they liked it, too.

Too Faced and Too Tacky. Seriously. Their products and brand styling don’t appeal to me anyway. Their marketing just gets even more cringey with each release. I had to stop following the brand on social media. It’s kind of sad because they didn’t use to be so OTT.

Damn that Too Faced lip gloss looks like something Tina Sparkle in Strictly Ballroom refused to use because it was too trashy! I like me some glitter, love my moondusts and have pots of cosmetic glitter, but this just looks like someone poured kids glitter in a curry! Wow Too Faced just keeps finding new things to not want!

Colab has actually existed for years. They've made a range of dry shampoo with a british blogger/youtuber called A Model Recommends. And the dry shampoo is actually amazing. They have one for volume that I love and use as a texturizing spray. I think you can buy it on feelunique.

I have 4 glimmer veils and use them for eyeliner, only the purple one has left a stain on my eyes. They totally set!

The KVD Glimmer veils do set, and they stain like a mofo, or at least the blue and purple do. I swatched them on my arm and I he'd to scrub at them three different times to get them off, so I wouldn't put them on my eyes.

I am dying. @jenluvsreviews just talked about how people shouldn't use the word affordable, and then you say on Friday that the term "affordable" has been designated for anything from the drugstore. BUT then today you say that a Laura Geller palette is affordable even though it is $60?!?!? WTH

Try the Colourpop super shock shadow in moonwalk over any dark liquid lip to get that Kat von d lip look. It looks crappy on the Colourpop website, like a weird khaki gold but it is amazing when you put it over anything.
