   i think its good to be accepting of everyone in the makeup community (men, lgbt people, people of color) but makeup is a place that focuses on women and is their place so male influencers should not get more respect than other influencers simply for being male. but they should not have more push or power! women have a home in the makeup community so they should have a strong voice there but they should accept others until they try to talk over the women that started and run the industry

   Elf is still pretty affordable compared to drugstore prices in the US. A similar Olay product for example is $20–25. Some brands go for $30 and up in the drugstore.

   your comment on men in makeup is so on point. how often do we see poc male makeup artists be worshipped like this? it has been proven that when stereotypically feminine industries (teaching, cooking and baking, nursing) start to have more men practicing, the wages and perception as skillful go up. moreover, in industries that are female dominated men still dominate at the management and professional level and consistently enjoy higher wages, more benefits, and are taken more seriously and seen as more competent. the recent stuff in makeup shows this…its the change happening before our eyes as we see men like jerrod, jstar, and whats his face dominate as ceos and beauty gurus while the women (and often lgbtq*+ members of colour ) are pushed to the side. if any of them acted how these white men do they would be ruined.

Every time i see him all I can think is how on earth did cover girl who's slogan is "easy breezy beautiful cover girl" see those brows and think yep here is our cover boy. They are taking over his face. His brows are literally eating his face. Rant over….

    Morphe is SOOO STUPID, why did jaclynn even said that she is revealing her own makeup company WHILE she is STILL struggling comming up with the morphe colab. If I was a die hard jaclynn fan (which im not, she is such a ass kisser) than I would wait for her company to come up with product and buy THEM. Why woudl you buy this shitty colab then? They are so stupid.

    And doesn't the tarte clay shape palette looks like the kat von d sculpting palette hahaha… but its pretty though

    I love you guys so much, it's completely disturbing that I can imagine the boob coverage, I laughed out loud at that one. Nope, not explaining that one to anyone…'what are you laughing at…ummm, nothing..lol. I've got a friend who works in beauty at Priceline and she's actively discouraging people from buying the 'jellybean piece of shit'. One chicky did buy it and came back to say that it was terrible and she had to use a sponge over the top because it was streaky and looked terrible. My friend said told ya so, it's a piece of plastic!

    I totally agree 100% with you both on the whole Tati & J star situation.Im sad to see Tai selling her soul to the devil. I've noticed for some time the friendship fadded with Laura Lee & Partick star.They use to hang alot, they live in same building.Now it seams Lauras new crew is Manny,Jeffery & Gabrel.Its highschool all over again…people will sink to low levels for the money I guess.

    What's funny about the Tati Jeffree Star thing is that she started one of her videos barefaced EXCEPT for a "PR" sample of a Jeffree Star highlight on her cheeks that she just happened to have sampled before filming & was so sad that she had to take it off. She also said in that video that she was having lunch with some YouTubers. Come on. Like you guys say, "don't piss on me & tell me it's raining." It's fucking obvious you were shilling for Jeffree Star. Idiot.

    One thing that surprises me in regards to the 'ebola tweet' stuff is that the punchline of the joke is not 'Africans have ebola' or anything racist, it's 'two teenage boys mix up ebola and e-coli'. Seems like people miss the second half of the tweet. There was an e-coli scare at certain fast food restaurants last year. Still not an amazing joke and probably ill-conceived given the current climate, but he's a teenager, and the joke as intended was self-deprecating.

    About the ELF skincare prices, I would say those are pretty reasonable prices drugstore wise. Some stuff by like, Neutrogena or L'Oreal can get in the 20 dollar range which is just obnoxious to me. (This is in Michigan, USA, no idea if the prices are different in other areas. That happens now and then)

    I love you, ladies! So entertaining to watch! As for the elf skincare, these prices are pretty average for skincare drugstore prices here in the US, they just seem a little high for being elf. I have to say that at least they are being consistant with their skincare prices comparing them to their last skincare launch. I'm especially interested in the vitamin C serum. If it works well, then it would be a fantastic alternative to all the highend serums.
    PS. They now have a listing on their website that says the line is coming soon and allow you to sign up to be notified via email when the skincare bundle is available for purchase ($94.00 USD). The bundle looks like it includes all six items + a mystery 7th, but that seems really expensive for a bundle. 🤔

    I have also been thinking like that about all those new cover boys. the brands are already run by men, but let us atleast pretend we are a large group of women in this!

    Thank you for sticking up for pregnant women!  I work with the general public and one of the reasons I took my maternity leave 5 weeks before my due date for this pregnancy is because people who know they are going to be interacting with a pregnant person will still turn up to their appointment saying they're unwell.  Unreal x

    Thank you for not being afraid to speak the truth!!! Look, I'm not in the business of hating on people, but I despise liars! And jaclyn although I love her channel and makeup looks, is known for being a fibber. So thanks for not being afraid to speak to the truth about her palette. Because I also don't for a second believe that she worked 2 years on these colours or formulations, and according to her the formula of these will be better than the standard morphe ones. That also reeks of bullsh*t. But anyway, youtube is the breeding ground for fibbers these days. Lol.
