   Xabi, Gerard , luis Garcia, Kewell, Šmicer you have five way above average long ranger scorers or passer. plus Baros whos heading can match crespo least bit above shevchenko whom a slow centre defence team fears.     Probably the worst team to ever win it. Milan players must still be having nightmares losing to a team as average as that Liverpool side.
    Huge amount of good fortune to win that 2005 final. They were chasing shadows for most of the game.

    Lifetime arsenal fan, ended up routing for Liverpool that night… there was just something spiritual about that 2nd half, never forgot those fans at halftime just incredible… then stevie scores and starts to raise the fans even more.. spine tingling… one of the most incredible games

    In terms of legendary names, that Milan team is up there with the recent Barcelona dream teams, the 2 Madrid Galacticos teams and possibly the English national team of the mid 2000s even if the names don’t sound as suaaaaave…
