There has never been any oversite or audit of all these homeless "non profit" service organizations.The corruption is massive and blatant. A lot of people live very well by pocketing the millions they collect just by writing a simple grant proposal. And now AI can write killer proposals in seconds. The people holding the purse strings are dying to give the money away (kickbacks!) A millions bucks for a few mouse clicks?….I can use a million…..

Here in Visalia ca, as of august 25th 2023, there are nearly 800 homeless people. 58 of them are unaccompanied youth. 300 of these people are in shelters, in wich there are 2 shelters. There is a program called H.O.P.E, not sure what it stands for, but the officers hand out flyers for services. Where are those 400+ homeless people? Why are they not being helped? Because there are hundreds that don’t want to be responsible adults, or they are drug addicts, in wich you cannot force them to go to a shelter or get help.

Because so many people overpaid for homes even while loan rates were low, I believe there will be a housing catastrophe because these people are in debt. If housing costs continue to drop and, for whatever reason, they can no longer afford the property and it goes into foreclosure, they have no equity since, even if they try to sell, they will not make any money. I believe that many individuals will experience this, especially given the impending mass layoffs and rapidly rising living expenses.

You can’t ban homelessness without helping them to get out of homelessness, I am sure that a majority of the homeless population wouldn’t be homeless if they didn’t have to be. Many of them are also my fellow disabled combat brothers who redeployed home from combat and have been thrown to the wolves by our own government BS
