The working and middle classes should be "freaked out" about adding more Neil Gorsuch's to the U.S. Supreme Court. It means they will be have no redress for their economic and social prerogatives, as radical conservatives, and economic elites — like the (largely) corrupt plutocrats of the Gilded Age in the late 19th century, ones who flaunted wealth and advocated an unrestrained market — will crush American citizens in need of livable wages, worker protections, education & career training, decent housing and affordable healthcare. And because technology's making many jobs obsolete, these safety nets should be considered existential. Vigorous advocacy for our middle/lower economic classes is what the Democratic Party must be about to counter Republican money, their corporate masters, and institutions they summons to perpetuate a (largely) exclusionary status quo. Democrats will have to find a way to operate without the tit-for-tat of corporate cash because it corrupts the distinctions between our two major political parties, which is counter to the public interest.
