BEHAVIOURAL INTERVIEW QUESTIONS! (STAR METHOD ANSWERS!)

BEHAVIOURAL INTERVIEW QUESTIONS! (STAR METHOD ANSWERS!) Learn how to answer behavioural interview questions by using the STAR METHOD! https://youtu.be/fr-mwiyhZAo?si=5QAq78TEYYHIDz9T #behavioralinterview #starmethod #jobinterview #interviewquestions

WHAT IS THE STAR METHOD? 00:52
TELL ME ABOUT A TIME YOU WORKED AS PART OF A TEAM 01:51
DESCRIBE A TIME YOU DEALT WITH A CONFLICT WITH A CO-WORKER 04:16
DESCRIBE A TIME WHEN YOU HAD TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE 06:22
I WILL WRITE YOUR STAR METHOD ANSWRS FOR YOU 08:36

HOW TO USE THE STAR METHOD TO ANSWER BEHAVIOURAL JOB INTERVIEW QUESTIONS!
Behavioural job interview questions are designed to assess how you handled real situations in the past because employers believe past performance is one of the best indicators of future success. If you can answer these questions confidently using the **STAR Method**, you will stand out as a prepared, professional and credible candidate.

The STAR Method is a simple structure that helps you give focused, detailed and memorable answers instead of rambling or missing important information.

What Does STAR Stand For?
S – Situation
Briefly explain the situation or challenge you faced. Keep this part short and provide just enough context for the interviewer to understand what happened.

T – Task
Describe your responsibility or objective. What were you expected to achieve? What problem needed solving?

A – Action
This is the most important part of your answer. Explain the specific steps **you** took. Focus on your personal contribution rather than what the team did. Employers want to know how you think, make decisions and overcome challenges.

R – Result
Finish with a positive outcome. Include measurable results whenever possible, such as improved efficiency, increased sales, positive customer feedback, cost savings or successful project completion. If appropriate, briefly explain what you learned from the experience.

Common STAR Method Interview Questions

Many behavioural interview questions begin with phrases such as:
* Tell me about a time when you solved a difficult problem.
* Describe a situation where you worked as part of a team.
* Tell me about a time you made a mistake.
* Give an example of when you dealt with conflict.
* Tell me about a time you exceeded expectations.
* Describe a situation where you had to meet a tight deadline.
* Tell me about a time you showed leadership.

Whenever you hear “Tell me about a time…” or “Give me an example of…”, it’s usually a signal to use the STAR Method.

STAR Method Tips from Hiring Managers
The best candidates keep their answers between **one and two minutes**. Spend around 15% of your time on the Situation, 15% on the Task, 50% explaining your Actions and 20% discussing the Result.

Choose examples that demonstrate qualities employers value, including problem-solving, communication, teamwork, leadership, adaptability, initiative and customer service.

Always speak positively, even if the situation involved conflict or failure. Focus on what you learned and how your actions created a successful outcome.

Finally, prepare at least eight to ten STAR stories before your interview. A well-chosen example can often be adapted to answer several different behavioural questions, giving you confidence regardless of what you’re asked.

Mastering the STAR Method is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to improve your interview performance. By providing clear, structured and evidence-based answers, you’ll demonstrate your skills, professionalism and ability to add valueβ€”greatly increasing your chances of receiving a job offer.

WALK ME THROUGH YOUR RESUME! (BEST ANSWER to This Interview Question!)

WALK ME THROUGH YOUR RESUME! (BEST ANSWER to This Interview Question!) https://youtu.be/W2_08tLMmyI?si=QDsghDQ2I-W2fqex #jobinterview #interviewquestions #interviewpreparation

WALK ME THROUGH YOUR RESUME! 04:10
The interview question, walk me through your resume, catches a lot of candidates out – they think that because they have already submitted their resume when they applied for the job, they won’t have to talk about it – that is a big mistake!

In this lesson, I will give you the perfect structure and answer for the tough question: Walk me through your answer, which is guaranteed to impress!

Stay tuned, subscribe and also tell me the name of the role you are applying for in the comments so I can give you extra tips.

To begin with, why do hiring managers ask you to walk them through your CV or resume?
The truth is, they probably haven’t read your resume in detail before the interview – asking you to do it for them gives you the opportunity to talk about something you should know a lot about – yourself. Make sure you prepare a response!

There is a brilliant, easy-to-remember structure you can use when walking the hiring manager through your resume. This is called the STEPS METHOD! S-T-E-P-S – you can remember this structure because you will walk the hiring manager through each step of your CV or resume. Let me explain…

S – Start
Briefly explain how your career started.
β€œI started my career as a customer service advisor for Company A. This was the perfect role to develop my skills and learn the importance of teamwork and accountability.

T – Timeline
Walk through a brief timeline of your previous roles.
β€œI then worked as an office administrator for two years for Company B, where I won Employee of the Month, before I worked for Company C as a sales administrator, where I helped the company increase sales by 11%.

E – Experience
Highlight any experience you gained and what you learned.
β€œThroughout my career, I have gained experience working on small and large teams, completing time-sensitive projects and delivering excellent service – I have learned the importance of being commercially aware and ensuring I give my employer a strong return on my salary.”

P – Performance
Share your biggest achievements with evidence or numbers.
β€œI consider myself to be a top performer. In addition to winning Employee of the Month, I was praised by my previous manager for how I created a standardised training program for new company hires.”

S – Summary
Finish by summarising why you are a great fit for the role.
β€œTo summarise, my skills, knowledge and experience are a great match for the job description, and I am confident I can add significant value in the role.”
