I looked this up because I was nervous and actually the last bit about good questions for to the company actually really calmed me down. Interviews are so nerv racking because of the personal stakes involved. I can do the job absolutely fine, face customers and stakeholders absolutely fine. But when I have to interview and its the ultimate this interview determines if i can earn a living, it hits home so much more.

Dear Richard, this is great advice. I am already feeling better about my interview this week by referring to it as a 'meeting'. I hope you see this today or tomorrow as I notice that this video is 2 years old. I have a Coodinator role question: "Ability to maintain/update project plans, project reports with direction or supporting teams in managing projects. Experience of managing projects is advantageous, though not essential" Can you please help me to answer this?

How to Write an ATS-Compatible CV (2025 Guide)
If you want to get noticed by employers, you must learn how to write an ATS-compatible CV. ATS stands for Applicant Tracking System—a tool used by recruiters to scan and filter CVs before a human ever sees them. If your CV isn’t ATS-friendly, it may be rejected automatically, no matter how qualified you are.

Follow these tips to ensure your CV passes the ATS scan:

Use a Simple Layout – Avoid tables, columns, text boxes, images, and fancy fonts. Stick to a clean format with standard fonts like Arial or Calibri.

Include Relevant Keywords – Scan the job description and mirror the keywords used (e.g., “project management,” “customer service,” “data analysis”) naturally in your CV.

Use Standard Headings – Stick to traditional headings like Work Experience, Education, Skills, and Professional Summary. ATS software recognises these easily.

Avoid Graphics and Logos – ATS systems can’t read visuals. Text only is best.

Save as a Word Document (.doc or .docx) – Some older ATS platforms struggle with PDFs.

Use Bullet Points – Keep achievements clear and scannable. Each bullet point should focus on a result or skill.

Don’t Overuse Acronyms – Always spell out terms at least once: e.g., “Customer Relationship Management (CRM)”.

Creating an ATS-friendly CV boosts your chances of getting to the interview stage. Make your CV readable, relevant, and results-focused!
